书籍《杨勇》系统梳理艺术家杨勇自1996年至2025年的创作实践，依照5年为一章节，呈现其艺术生涯30年的演变轨迹与内在脉络。全书收录大量从未公开的作品图像、创作手稿、艺术家自述、学术评论、深度访谈与详实年表，涵盖超过1300张高清图像与39篇重要文献，作品类型包含摄影、录像、绘画及跨媒介等多元创作形式。每个章节由“艺术家肖像”“自述”“摄影小样”“作品”“展览”“评论”“访谈”“出版”等板块构成，不仅直观呈现各阶段的创作成果，亦更深层揭示其创作背后的思考路径与实验精神。

Documenting Yang Yong’s artistic practice from 1996 to 2025, the book illustrates the evolution of his career in five-year chapters. The book includes a wealth of previously unpublished works, sketches, personal writings, and in-depth interviews, accompanied by over 1,300 high-resolution images and 39 scholarly texts. Yang Yong’s diverse body of work spans photography, video, painting, and multimedia. Each chapter is structured into dedicated sections; Artist Portrait, Statement, Contact Sheets, Works, Exhibitions, Reviews, Interviews, and Publications. It offers not only a comprehensive display of his artistic output but also insights into the conceptual and experimental processes behind his practice.
