当大学被不断要求“开放”时，它究竟应当以何种方式存在于城市之中？

作为深圳最具影响力的城市公共文化品牌之一，第七届深圳湾公共艺术季在机制与格局上实现了创新——联动大学城、蛇口、太子湾三大展区。从西丽湖畔的理性思辨、蛇口改革原点的国际新流，再到太子湾的诗意栖居，20多位国内外著名艺术家的重要作品将在此集结。

第七届深圳湾公共艺术季大学城展区提出“无际之维”这一主题。它不仅是一场艺术展示，更是一次以公共艺术为柔性介质"打开大学围墙"的实践尝试。

作品介绍

本展区呈现的11组公共艺术作品，以深圳大学城西校区为核心，沿深圳市科技图书馆/深圳大学城图书馆的“知识纵轴”探寻公共边界，顺大沙河的“自然横轴”舒展学院气息。两条轴线纵横交织，勾勒出一条从“知识高地”通往“自然岸线”与“公共生活”的艺术生态路径。

When universities are constantly being asked to 'open up,' how exactly should they exist within the city?

As one of Shenzhen’s most influential urban public cultural brands, the 7th Shenzhen Bay Public Art Season has achieved innovation in both mechanism and framework—linking three major exhibition zones: University Town, Shekou, and Taizi Bay. From rational reflection by Xili Lake, to the international new currents at the original site of reform in Shekou, and on to poetic dwelling at Taizi Bay, major works by more than 20 renowned artists from China and abroad will gather here.

The Shenzhen University Town venue of the 7th Shenzhen Bay Public Art Season proposes the theme “Going Beyond.” It is not merely an art exhibition, but also a practical attempt to use public art as a soft medium to “open the walls of the university.”

Artwork Introduction

Centered on the West Campus of Shenzhen University Town, the 11 groups of public artworks presented in this exhibition zone explore public boundaries along the “vertical axis of knowledge” of the Shenzhen Science and Technology Library / Shenzhen University Town Library, and unfold the scholarly atmosphere along the “horizontal axis of nature” of the Dasha River. Interwoven vertically and horizontally, the two axes outline an artistic-ecological path leading from a “knowledge highland” to the “natural shoreline” and “public life.”
