由都市实践、杨勇、黄扬、滕斐联合创立于2006年，E6空间作为一个综合型的多元艺术机构，呈现当代艺术、建筑、平面设计、电影与实验音乐等。它致力于寻找各种媒介之间互动时所产生的新型艺术概念和形式。在专业上它具有国际化的学术标准，同时它又具有艺术品商业运作的可能，并且在适当时候，把“E6”打造成一个概念艺术和设计的品牌。 空间作为一个平台，以展览、活动和项目的方式为艺术家和设计师的创意提供机会。空间位于深圳市华侨城东部工业区E-6栋，是一个独立的，民间的艺术发展机构，不以赢利为主要目的，它的存在取决于参与各方在各自领域和互动的交流中得到的更大发展。

Founded in 2006 by Urbanus, Yang Yong, Huang Yang and Teng Fei, as a multi-disciplinary platform for contemporary art, architecture, graphic design, film and experimental music, SPACE E6 aims to stimulate interaction among all kinds of art media and offers a platform of communication and presentation for artists, architects and designers in the forms of exhibition, event, and project collaboration. The alternative atelier SPACE E6 is situated in the OCT-LOFT, the first cluster of contemporary art and creative industry in Shenzhen.

ANOTHER PROJECT: INAUGURAL EXHIBITION OF SPACE E6

E6空间的第一个展览命名为《另一个项目》， 是为了向大家做个自我介绍。展示一些E6空间的组成成员所做过的一些作品，并且让大家了解一下我们的成员结构。 我们基本上是从建筑、当代艺术、平面设计三个板块组在一起的，通过这自我介绍式的展览，想表达一个概念，即我们在E6空间所共同参与的艺术活动是作为我们在各自范畴的工作之外又组合产生的另一个项目，其意图更着眼于不同艺术门类之间的交流和互动，并试图从中激发出新的思想和方法。这就是我们把E6空间首展命名为《另一个项目》的原因。

The first exhibition of SPACE E6 is entitled “Another Project” and a self-introduction to the public, in which some works created by the members of SPACE E6 are exhibited so that the public can know the membership structure of E6. E6 is basically formed by three modules, namely architecture, contemporary art and graphic design, and we want to express a concept through this self-introduction exhibition, i.e. the artistic activities we take part in together in SPACE E6 are another projects extended and combined from our own work and they are intended to exchange and interact with different types of arts and to activate new ideas and methods during the course. That’s why, we named the first exhibition of E6 “Another Project”.
